Blessed beyond measures
Let the world know my pain and pleasures
Want to reach for the stars
But society want us black people behind bars
How can we overcome when have we greed, hate and envy in our hearts
Instead of helping the black community we're being apart
Inspire those around us to be yourself
Realize there's people who want to help
Don't have to resort to selling drugs, robbing to make it
It starts with faith and an ideal
Your passion, dedication and motivation can take you
Beyond new heights you never thought
Black men keep breaking statistics
Black women break down doors by being independent and taking risks
Let's make a difference in this world
Believe that there is hope
You might have some heartache, pain and everything else
But stay sane let the aura he's blessed you with shine
Stop following everybody else you have a unique mind
Something that's great and not hard to find
With the way the world is it can be cold
Everything that glitters isn't gold
Stay humble don't take nothing for granted
Love life it's so precious
